Sick Bay and more

Poor Oreo. She was sick again this morning. (WHY is it never on the linoleum, why must it always be on the landlord's less-than-a-year-old carpets?) I don't know if we're just feeding her too much and Miss Piggy snarfs it all up, or if she's developing food sensitivities. I sincerely hope it's the former - specialized cat food is expensive. Bad enough that we are thinking we have to buy some kind of carpet shampooer for all these spots she creates. Those aren't cheap either. Resolve works ok for now, but if this is an ongoing problem, we might as well come armed for battle.


Sigh.


The BIG BOSS was here this week and I'm SO HAPPY to report that the meeting went off without a hitch. I think it was a combination of me having done this once already (last year was my first meeting), plus simpler logistics (it was a VTC v. having our staffers from London and Brussels flying over) and a seemingly more laid back attitude. Everyone has Christmas on their minds and it shows.

Now today is my last day at work for 11 - count 'em, ELEVEN! - consecutive days of vacation. I am SO READY for this break. I have a busy weekend planned and then it's just time to hang with friends and QT with the cat. Plus some house cleaning here or there...
