(Humor me please... my brain is still thawing and I'm feeling too mellow to be too interesting.)
So my wish apparently came true... I wanted a cat that acts like a dog, and boy did I get it! Oreo chases her tail, chases "sticks" (straws) and brings them back to you (or close enough to you) to toss them again, and has an infatuation with the toilet. Justin said he caught her drinking out of it, which is so incredibly icky to me!
She seriously has a straw problem. We've got straws scattered all over the house. Don't ever bring a soda cup from a fast food place into my house or it's all over. She will just walk over to you, climb up the couch, and help herself to your straw! And if you dare challenge her for "her" toy, she will just give you this frosty look - and then grab it when you're not looking! I swear, you have to be better than a guard at Fort Knox!
She's got a hell of a sense of entitlement, too! She will just helps herself to any and everything she wants (see: straw). I've learned not to bring a glass of water up to bed at night because I was noticing that the water was drastically less than when I went to bed. Well I woke up in the middle of the night one night to see Oreo helping herself to my water! =oO Not to mention the fact if your dinner looks tasty, she'll just walk up to the plate and put her paw on something she wants! Booger.
She's so infuriating... but still, on mornings like these, when it's FREEZING COLD outside, she makes it so hard to come to work. She has this way of flipping over on her back and giving us her cutest face, as if to say, c'mon, mom, won't it be so much better to just snuggle here with me? Such a pretty little kitty...
