Or more accurately, Who are YOU? I am terrible at identifying names and faces. So I was intrigued when one of the intro topics on Gene's chat today was how well do you recognize faces? He provided a website that tests your memory, visual recognition, and face processing. There were two quizzes - recognizing famous people, and your every day Joe. The results were not surprising at all.
Famous Faces Quiz:
Out of 30 faces, you correctly identified 29. You were familiar with 29 of the people in this test.
If we exclude the ones you were unfamiliar with, you got 100% correct.
On our previous version of this test, the average person with normal face recognition was able to recognize about 85% of the faces they were familiar with. If you missed more than half of the faces you were familiar with, this may indicate face recognition difficulties.
Cambridge Face Memory Test:
Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 52. In other words, you got 72% correct.
On our previous version of this test, the average person with normal face recognition was able to recognize about 80% of the faces. If you correctly identified less than 65% of the faces, this may indicate face recognition difficulties.
In other words, unless I'm mugged by Brad Pitt, I'm in a world of trouble.

I got 48 percent of the celebrities and 67 percent of the random people, apparently i can't recogonize anyones face. It's a good thing I never went to a lineup for my roberry, I probably would have picked out the guy next door! :)
Not to BRAG but I got a 96% on the celebs and 93% on the random people! I know...I'm just that good. What's funny is that I have the WORST memory in the world!
I got 97% of the Celebrities and 72% of the random test faces
I'm gonna guess noone is going to want me around if something bad happens cause I'll probably pick out a celebrity when it was actually a normal person :)
