This blog post is dedicated to the rude b!tch on tonight's 309 to Fredericksburg.
So after having a really bad day today, really stressful, I board my evening train, looking forward to a nice meal with the husband and a glass of wine. I boarded first; Justin was about 5 people behind me.
In the time it took him to board, another woman had sat in the seat I was saving for Justin. "Excuse me ma'am, but my husband is sitting there", I say politely, pointing at Justin who was standing right there. She gave me A LOOK and says "Well excuse ME but I didn't know there were assigned seats on this train!" before flouncing away.
What a horrible, rude b!tch. Was the attitude really necessary? I was nicely asking, and there was PLENTY of seats available in the car. It's times like this that I wish I were more like my friends - I'd have reamed your @ss out for being the stupid wh0re that made my day even crappier. Instead I sit here and silently seethe.
It's people like you that give me no faith in humanity and decency. I hope someone drops a house on you.
Edit - 6:10 pm: The cherry on top of today's crap sundae - my 2 month old purse just broke. How is it the purse I bought from a shady street vendor has outlived one from a reputable store?
