There's no place like home

Or in this case, the Daily Grill, where I am dining *again*. This time it is to scarf down lunch before I run off to the airport. Just about 3 hours till we take off, and just under 8 until I'm back on the east coast.

I cannot wait to be home. This trip reinforced the fact that I cannot travel for a living. Unless we were independantly wealthy and Justin came with me. I am ready to sleep in my own bed and cook my own meals. I have been dreaming of a big leafy salad all week.

San Francisco, while beautiful, is being filed under "only for work" in my mental filing cabinet. I recognize that I didn't really see the city in all its splendor, but I had neither the time nor money to really live it up Frisco style. I found it to be a big, busy, dirty city, very much like a more temperate NYC, that could use a dose of "southern hospitality".

I totally look forward to being proven wrong when the College returns in 2011, but until then, I remain an east coast girl. Sometimes there truly is no place like home.
