Cold outside?

Go ahead, blame me. It's because last night, I did something I've never done before. I'm not proud of it... in fact I felt a little dirty afterwards.

That's right. I watched American Idol.

IN MY DEFENSE, I only watched the last 5 minutes or so, just to catch the final songs. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I usually check the 'net the day after the Idol winners are announced just so I don't seem quite like the square I truly am.

If anyone cares, I am pulling for the Rocker David. (WTF is up with that dude's hair, anyway?) I can't watch the other one without thinking MONCHICHI!!! (Thanks to E!'s "The Soup" for forever corrupting my view of him.) (BTW, our next pet is TOTALLY being named Monchichi. How much fun is that to say!?)

Where was I? Oh yeah. I kinda dug Rocker David's version of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", and while I usually HATE people messing with classics (I guess his niche is putting his own "spin" on songs?), it wasn't half bad. While Monchichi David just sounded the exact same, and the LAST thing we need on the radio is more whimpy guys singing the same old blech. However, the all signs seem to point toward Monchichi David winning, in which case I'll be interested to see if Rocker David pulls a Bald Rocker Guy (what was that guy from last season? Daughtry?) and eclipses the Singing Monchichi.

Ok, I'm done now...
