Woe is me

Oh my God. I share an office with two girls who are always freezing. Consequently, I'm sitting here, directly under the vents, with the HEAT blowing. I'm about to faint, but majority rule says that I can't do anything about it. I have both of my fans on full blast, and since it's raining I can't crack a window... I think I'm going to die...

Woke up this morning with a (can't think of any way to describe it but) thick throat. I don't have allergies but I imagine it's what it feels like. J and I had the A/C on and 2 fans in the bedroom last night, I must have been doing some heavy-duty snoring (NOT THAT I SNORE!) ;)

Still doing really well here at ACS. Getting the hang of things and slowly but surely learning the ropes. I'm in the middle of playing "catch up, clean up" in my department, so once I get things tidy I'm sure I'll have more opportunities to get out there and get more exposure. And my friend Cate, who I worked with back at the ENTs, starts here at ACS on Monday. YAY!

Am in the final stages of baby shower planning for my friend Alissa (yay baby showers!) We went to Babies R Us to get her gifts last weekend and as we were approaching the store, I started getting the willies. No slight exaggeration here, I break out in hives and get all twitchy when I have to go to that store. Justin, on the other hand, was eerily proficient on knowing where things were located. I think he's been spying...

I can't wait to go see Lewis Black at the Warner Theater on the 16th. He freaking rocks, and every time I see one of his specials, I'm laughing so hard. Justin might have a harder time than me. He's more set in his political views, so whenever Lewis goes off on a "F tha Republicans" rant, I look over and the Mister is frowning something fierce. But he's getting better at it!

OK... back to the monster mailing (part of the fun "catch up, clean up" duties...)
